Tuesday 15th April – Sunday 27th April 2014

Throughout a long and varied career, ranging from floristry to holistic therapies, Trish’s diverse professional background has brought to her a distinctive attitude that is both intriguing and inclusive. A self taught artist, Trish enjoys working with a wide range of media and over the years has developed her own unique style of interpretation.

A fusion of Trish’s two great passions - creative expression and the development of human consciousness - her recent two-dimensional works cleverly capture that fusion, art and soul. Being surrounded by trees can be both soothing and threatening at the same time, evoking all sorts of emotions. In this exhibition she has endeavoured to create a bewildering forest filled with strange trees and pockets of light but also scary corners that take you by surprise!

Offering a huge variety of sizes, shapes, textures and colours, Trish loves working with the play of light and shadows on the verticals and random angles trees produce as they rarely grow with any kind of regularity. Trish has used crystals as well as beads, fabrics and wood as they raise the vibration of each piece, enhancing the interaction and lifting the relationship for the viewer towards that deeper aspect of the Self.

Opening Reception: Sunday 20th April, 3-5pm
