Fundraising Fortnight from 16th August - 28th August

Signal Arts Centre has had a very exciting year and is about to embark on it’s long held dream of buying and developing its current premises into a state-of-the-art Arts Centre. To this end we have planned an exciting fortnight of funfundraising activities.

From Tuesday 16th August Signal Arts Centre will be turning into a pop up tea room with a fundraising sale of arts and crafts donated by local artists and friends of Signal. As well as this our tea room opens every day with tea, coffe, cakes and sandwiches as well as specially donated gu treats available from 10 - 5 on weekdays and 12 - 5 on weekends.

On Friday 19th August we are holding a special opening reception form 7 - 9 where all arts and crafts will be available to buy and take home on the evening. We will also have our very own fortune teller available at different points over the two weeks. Ring our office for details.

We are also hosting a special afternoon tea from 3 - 5 on Sunday 21st. This classic afternoon tea includes such tasty treats as finger sandwiches, homemade scones with cream & jam as well as delicious cakes and sweets. Music for the afternoon will be provided by flautist and guitar duo Rocco & Tico. Tickets are available from Signal.

There will also be a number of children's workshops held in our facilities. Signal has a very successful program of childrens art classes during the academic year so this is a great opportunity for your little ones to come and try some out. These ceramic and jewellery making workshops take place during alternate days of the week ensuring that there will be a suitable time for all. Places are limited though so booking is advised.

To be in with a chance of winning two tickets to our spectacular afternoon teafrom 3-5pm on Sunday 21st August, simply like or share this page on your facebook with our brand new 'like' buttons.
