'No Fixed Abode'

A group exhibition on the theme of homelessness

From Tuesday 13th November to Saturday 24th November 2001

Now in its second year, the No Fixed Abode project takes place in Bray during the month of November. As part of the project, Signal Arts Centre is hosting a multi-media exhibition from Tuesday 13th November to Saturday 24th November.

Conceived and co-ordinated by local artists, No Fixed Abode aims to explore the experience of homelessness, not just as a physical state but also as an emotional one. It is the creative response of homeless young people, school students, community groups and artists to a very real condition and is supported by the commercial and cultural infrastructure of the town. The exhibition takes place in numerous venues throughout Bray - the seafront, churches, schools, hotels, banks and shops.

The Signal Arts Centre exhibition features paintings, photographs and sculpture by a variety of artists committed to raising public awareness of this issue.

Opening Reception: Monday 5th November 8.30-10.30pm at Bray Arts Club, Heather House Hotel, Seafront
