Signal Arts Centre is delighted to be exhibiting works by a very talented Artist Anthony Weyer-Brown.


Weyer Brown who lives in sheltered accommodation near Dublin has been an Artist all his life and has experimented with a variety of medium, techniques and styles. His work could be classed as “Art Brut” (Raw Art).


Defined by Jean Dubuffet as “Art that is totally pure, raw, completely reinvented in all its stages by the artists starting from scratch from their own impulses. In short, Art which is revealed only through invention”.


During his first exhibition Weyer Brown wrote“In painting, I can just be myself………….Not what other people expect me to be. It makes me feel good to paint and to feel a sense of achievement. Art helps me to get through Life”.
