21 Degrees West Group | The Language of Memory

“The Language of Memory” is an exhibition based completely on the landscape in which the artists have immersed themselves. The land contains both history and mystery. Knowledge of place is the underpinning of self-knowledge. Our exploration of cultural memory over two continents reveals an unspooling and decoding of what has come before.
21°W seeks to exhibit artwork that is based on each artist’s inspiration and interpretation of the landscape around them with attention to wisdom of the land – past and present. The work will include a variety of media including cold wax medium, oil, acrylic and fibre.
