Denise French
Denise French is a Visual Artist, surrounded by creativity as a child she surrounded her
own children with creativity and when they all went to school she went to Art College at
IADT Dun Laoghaire. She has been involved in setting up Artists Studios as well as an
Art market in Dalkey and now works from her light filled studio in Dalkey. Denise has a
unique style and creates paintings and drawings that she hopes will evoke joy and
happiness her viewers. From her exuberant sea scapes to cheerful colourful meadows to
relaxing drawings of her favourite spots to go swimming each one is an individual special
creation.

Yvonne Pettitt
Yvonne’s work arises out of curiosity about the world and of painting. With a background teaching
Art History, she had a yen to practice. Passion and Skills allow experimenting. Wanting to be perfect
is a struggle in creativity but she loves the irony that immersing in process is the only way to find an authentic voice and do your best work. There really is no such thing as perfection, Socrates was
right. She likes to paint traditional still -lifes which are full of symbolism and landscapes that still yet exist. She loves the feeling of being outside and tries to translate that feeling of freedom into paint.
