BRAY CAMERA CLUB celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2021. We are delighted to announce an exhibition of our members’ photographs in the Signal Arts Centre, January 31st, 2022. Since our humble beginning on the steps of “An Lár” on the Lower Dargle Road, BCC has provided the local community with a welcoming forum for photographers of every ability and throughout the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, we have remained stalwart in our drive to celebrate and share our passion for photography with a busy schedule of online activities and social interaction.
Following on from their successful exhibition in the Mermaid Arts Centre in January 2017, the members of Bray Camera Club are delighted to announce their 2nd exhibition of photographs this year in the Signal Arts Centre. Since its foundation in 1971, Bray Camera Club has provided a forum for its members (an eclectic mix of amateurs, professionals and competition prize-winners) to learn from and support one another in improving their photographic skills and developing their creativity.
Through our photographs we share so much about who we are: what we find beautiful, fascinating, funny, delicious, important, inspiring. They tell the story we don’t always speak and they are a legacy we leave behind, offering a way to share our stories with generations to come.2021 marks the 50th anniversary of Bray Camera Club. We have much to celebrate and we are beginning the year with an online exhibition of our members’ work which is being hosted by the Signal Arts Gallery, February 1st – 14th.
