04 Textile Group | 04-24 Lasting Impressions
The 04 Textile Group is a collective of 8 textile artists based in Dublin and Wicklow who have been exhibiting together since 2004. Members work in a variety of both contemporary and traditional textile forms, using a range of techniques and a wide mix of materials. We are passionate about the potential and wonder of working with textiles and are delighted to have the opportunity to share our work at Signal Arts Centre.
Past exhibitions include: “Plant, Fibre and Form” at the Botanic Gardens in 2007 and “Purple in the Park” in the Visitors Centre, Phoenix Park in 2009; “Running Threads” at the same venue in 2011; “Ten x Ten” at Signal Arts Centre in 2014; “Haberdashery” at the Knit and Stitch Show in 2015 and “Unravelled” at the Knit and Stitch Show in 2016.
This current exhibition “04 – 24 Lasting Impressions” is a retrospective glance at some of the work previously exhibited over the last two decades and will also include work created specifically for this exhibition.
